Matthew is a multidisciplinary Art Director / Designer with over 12 years of professional design experience. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a major in Graphic Design, at the New England School of Art and Design at Suffolk University.
At Thread Collaborative, Matthew engages in a collaborative work atmosphere to encourage and develop the formation of the best ideas and concepts. During this process, he manages a group of multidisciplinary designers while executing bespoke store designs that communicate the brands attributes while reflecting the community.
As the Whole Foods Market Store Design Art Director, Matthew transformed their approach to store design by generating key solutions to direct the course and visual strategy of new store construction and renovated locations. He coordinated the entire design process: from concept, to fabrication and installation, all the while maintaining a passion for meeting strict deadlines and ensuring accuracy of construction documents.
As the Whole Foods Market Marketing Art Director, working locally and nationally, he developed and implemented creative design briefs, strategy development, idea brainstorming. Along with executing copious marketing materials including print, web, advertisements, posters, brochures, banners, billboards.
